Please note that the following Terms and Conditions apply to reservations made directly on the Auto Home website. For reservations made through a third-party website, please refer to the posted Terms and Conditions or your Rental Receipt.
The Auto Home website offers multiple prices. Price details will be available at the quote/booking stage and on the rental receipt. The tenant is responsible for checking what is included in the price with the information and documents submitted to him before the reservation, and cannot claim that he has not been informed about this issue afterwards.
All rentals and reservations to be made include the following within the price range:

Driver's License and Documentation Requirements
All tenants must have the following documents:
• A valid Driving License with photo
• A valid Credit card on behalf of the main driver
• International customers must present their passports bearing the stamp of entry into Turkey.
• Turkish citizens are required to show both their driver's licenses and their identity cards.
For compact and economy vehicle groups, the driver's license must be at least 1 year old and valid for at least 30 days after the start of the lease.
For Compact, Standard, Medium and SUV vehicle groups, the driver's license must be at least 3 years old and valid for at least 30 days after the start of the lease.
Drivers who want to rent premium/luxury categories must have a driving license of at least 5 years and be valid for at least 30 days after the start of the rental.
Licenses must be in English, Latin or Roman script.
An International Driving License is required when a driver's license is not available in English, Latin or Roman script. Customers living in countries that do not participate in the International Driving License program are allowed to present an officially translated version of the driver's license along with it.
The Renter is solely responsible for ensuring that his license is valid for use in the relevant country and for determining whether an International Driving Permit is required by local law. In the event that a valid license and international validity are not provided, the right not to supply the vehicle and not to refund the fee is reserved.
If the tenant arrives at the rental desk without the necessary documents, the reservation will be cancelled. In these cases, no refund will be made.
Rental may be refused under the following circumstances, including but not limited to:
- History of damage and improper use in previous leases
- A pending prosecution or police investigation
- Convictions for theft, fraud or fraud related crimes
- Being involved in a faulty accident in the last 5 years
- Being involved in more than 1 accident in the last 3 years
- defective vision
Identification
Valid ID (passport or national ID) with photo and Turkish National ID no.
Exchange Difference Clause and Explanation
Payments to be made for foreign currency-indexed invoices by Tenants excluding Turkish citizens who are workers, self-employed and self-employed abroad, real and legal persons residing in Turkey, will be valid either upon the payment of the foreign currency amount on the invoice or on the payment date of the foreign currency amount to be paid on the invoice. It will be made by paying in TRY with the Foreign Exchange Sales Rate of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. If the Tenant pays its foreign currency debt in foreign currency or pays its TRY equivalent over the Foreign Exchange Sales Rate of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey valid on the day of the payment, the foreign exchange difference will be demanded from the Tenant.
Turkish Citizens
Turkish citizens will be subject to a credit rating check varying between 1001 and 1701, depending on the vehicle group selected. Turkish customers must pass this check in order to qualify for a rental.

A security deposit will be charged (received as payment) from your card(s) during the rental period. Accepted cards listed above must be in the main driver's name and have enough cash to cover payments. Failure to provide a valid card may result in the reservation being canceled and non-refundable for the prepaid amount.

If the original reservation was paid using a third-party credit or debit card, it may result in the rental being denied.

Receipt / Voucher
A hard copy or electronic copy of your receipt must be presented upon arrival at the rental desk. Failure to present a receipt means that the car rental agent may charge you at local rates. The car rental agent may refuse to deliver the car, in which case the prepaid funds will not be refunded.
Deposits, Liabilities and Additional Guarantee
Insurance Coverage
Auto Home offers different assurances with different levels of protection/coverage.
Unless otherwise stated, damage to windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, undercarriage, engine, clutch, interior of the vehicle, lost keys, towing charges, battery discharge and loss of use are not covered by insurance. This list is not exhaustive.
Zero Damage Payment Eligibility and Requirements
In the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle, the customer is required to obtain a police or gendarmerie report. However, it is also necessary to create an Accident Report with the driver of the other vehicle before returning the vehicle to Auto Home.
After the customer's application, Auto Home will provide information and assistance with these processes and will provide guidance on what are the documents on how to proceed in case of damage to the vehicle.
The following valid documents will be required:
- Police report or mutual damage assessment report
- Copy or picture of the other vehicle's license documents
- Copy or picture of the other vehicle's insurance documents
- Copy or picture of the other driver's license
- Photos showing the vehicles involved in the accident and photos of the accident site
Auto Home will provide the necessary information, including how the repair processes will proceed when the vehicle is returned.
Additional Assurance Packages
The packages below can be purchased in addition to any of the pricing packages or in addition to reservations made through third-party websites.
Mini Damage Assurance
Mini Damage Assurance guarantees damages to the tire, glass or body of the vehicle, up to a maximum of 2000 TL, without the need for a police report. When customers return to the Auto Home branch, they must fill in the document containing the relevant statement. This insurance is only valid for (one-sided) accidents that do not involve another vehicle. If the damage amount exceeds the 2000 TL guarantee limit, the entire damage amount will be collected from the customer.

Super Mini Damage Assurance
Super Mini Damage Assurance guarantees damages to the tire or glass and body of the vehicle, up to a maximum of 4000 TL, without the need for a police report. Customers must fill out a statement when they return to the Auto Home branch. This insurance is only valid for (one-sided) accidents that do not involve another vehicle. If the damage amount exceeds the guarantee limit of 4000 TL, the entire amount of the damage will be collected from the customer.

Even if you purchase additional assurance packages from brokers and third-party websites, Auto Home will require a credit card presentation for a deposit withdrawal.
Extra Services
All optional extras are subject to price changes without notice; In addition, optional extras are limited to stock.
Additional Driver: 50 TRY per day. The maximum fee per rental for up to 30 days is 750 TRY
Baby Seat: 100 TRY per day. Maximum charge per rental up to 30 days is 1500 TRY - On request
Child Seat: 100 TRY per day. Maximum charge per rental up to 30 days is 1500 TRY - On request
Winter Tires: 80 TRY per day. Maximum charge per rental up to 30 days is TRY 1200 - On request
Installation of Infant/Child Seats
It is the tenant's responsibility to place child/infant seats and will not be done by Auto Home employees. Liabilities that may arise due to improper installations belong to the tenant.
Cross Border Travel
Border crossing is not allowed. Tenants must stay in Turkey for the entire rental period.
Delivery / Collection Service
There is no delivery to address or collection from address service.
Out of Hours Pick-up and Drop-off
Out-of-hours services are available upon request but cannot be guaranteed.
One Way Rental
Not all Auto Home branches offer one-way rentals. An additional fee will be charged if the vehicle is to be delivered to a different location.
As you enter your pickup point on the website, it will automatically display all available drop-off locations and the prices shown will include the one-way surcharge. The website will only show available one-way locations. If your desired drop-off location is not visible on the website, this option is not available and is not allowed.
Principles
Vehicle Group/Model
Auto Home vehicles are grouped using ACRISS codes. The group is indicated in the upper right corner of the vehicle image and the description in the upper left.
Unless otherwise stated, reservations are confirmed for a group and not a specific model. Auto Home cannot guarantee a particular make/model or fuel type unless a guaranteed model group is reserved. The tool shown in any document is for guidance only and may be replaced, at our discretion, by an alternative, similar, or upper-class vehicle.
Model groups defined as "or similar" are not guaranteed. Model groups defined as "Brand/model guaranteed" are guaranteed model groups.
Vehicle Status
Vehicles must be returned to the location/delivery point in the same condition as when they were picked up/delivered.
While the lessee is responsible for the vehicle, he/she assumes the responsibility of maintaining the road durability of the vehicle and agrees to take corrective action to avoid unnecessary cost/damage. This will include maintaining oil levels, tire pressures and other common-sense actions to maintain the vehicle. Costs will generally only be covered if pre-authorized from the rental branch.
If the vehicle is extremely dirty on return, or if there is damage to the seats, upholstery or carpets, an additional fee will be charged for a deep cleaning.
Auto Home's determinations regarding the general condition of the vehicle in the parking lot, branch or the location where it was left will be valid without signing the mutual delivery report. The tenant is obliged to deliver the vehicle in good condition and in working condition as received.
Accidents
In the event of an accident, the tenant is obliged to deliver the reports and documents requested from him completely and accurately to Auto Home. Missing documents or incorrectly arranged documents will be invalid and insurance will not be used. In such a case, the responsibility will remain with the Tenant.
Fuel Policy
Auto Home enforces a fair Fuel Policy; Tenants are requested to return the vehicle at the same fuel level as the fuel level given at the time of collection.
For missing fuel, a surcharge of 25% (Refueling Fee) will be charged per liter (daily rate).
Mileage Policy
Daily 400 km for 1 - 4 days, mileage limit specified in the table below for more than 5 days, and in case of exceeding the kilometers specified in the table below per rental, the mileage exceeding fees specified in the table will be applied.

Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited in Auto Home vehicles. If you have smoked or allowed smoking in the vehicle, you will be charged for this. This fee includes allowing cigarette (or cigar) smoke or ash to enter the vehicle; Although a minimum fee of 750 TRY will be applied, the penalty fee will be increased if this situation causes a greater damage.
Detailed Cleaning of the Vehicle
No animals should be transported in our vehicle unless they are in the cage. A clean-up fee may apply to remove any contamination from animal transport. A minimum fee of 750 TRY will be applied, but if this situation causes greater damage to the vehicle and/or the cleaning fee becomes a higher amount, the penalty fee to be applied will be increased.
If the vehicle is returned in a dirty condition (inside or outside) and requires more than our standard cleaning, a cleaning fee of TRY 1000 will be applied. Hazardous or excessive soiling requiring cleaning by a specialist will be charged according to the qualification of the specialist required and the cost incurred.
Reservation Policy
Reservations will be kept for 2.5 hours from the specified reservation time and then the reservation will be classified as unused. The vehicle is not guaranteed if the tenant arrives after this time or if the rental station closes in the meantime. Auto Home will do everything possible to provide a vehicle. This may include offering a different vehicle and prices may differ from the original booking. In case of no-show, the reservation is non-refundable.
The flight numbers given are for informational purposes only. It is the Tenant's responsibility to notify the location of any delays.
Lost Key
Fees will be charged if keys are lost or damaged. In case the rented vehicle is stolen and/or the keys are not returned to the rental place, the Tenant will be deemed to be at fault. Lost keys are considered negligence and are not covered by insurance coverage or mitigation packages. The tenant will be responsible for the salvage fee, loss of earnings and all costs associated with the repair. This responsibility is not limited to those listed.
Extension of the Rental Period
It may not always be possible for the leasing branch to extend the lease period upon request. When the branch agrees to the extension, the rent will be charged at any rate that may be higher or lower than the original reservation price.
Unauthorized Rental Extension
If the tenant does not return the vehicle within the specified time, a daily penalty of 1500 TRY will be applied for each day of delay and the tenant will be blacklisted (future reservations will be rejected by Auto Home).
Early Return/Unused Rental Days
If the vehicle is returned before the specified delivery date, the previously collected vehicle price will not be refunded. Proven force majeure is required for return.
Late Refund
A vehicle is rented for a limited period specified in the contract as detailed in the lease. The pick-up day and time selected by the tenant at the time of booking will be applied regardless of the delayed pick-up time. In case the vehicle is returned outside the rental period, the additional fee corresponding to the delayed hour and the above-mentioned penalty fee (1500 TRY for each day) will be applied, calculated over the rental fee. Fees reflected within the scope of delay will be deducted from the credit card given for the guarantee.
The additional time given to the tenant for the implementation of this procedure and penalty is 2 (two) hours.
Amendments
Reservation changes must be requested in writing via e-mail at least 24 hours before the start of your rental. Please note that phone number changes will not be accepted. A change request is not guaranteed and changes may be treated as a new booking.
Fines, Other Penalties and Administration Costs
It is the tenant's responsibility to pay for any parking tickets and traffic violations. If fines or traffic violations occur and Auto Home is involved in paying the fines and has to make such payments to the relevant and competent authority, a 25% fee will be charged to the customer.
HGS/HIGHWAY TOLLS
All toll highways and bridges in Turkey are used in vehicles ("Fast Pass System" or HGS) to control the traffic flow. HGS usage fee will be charged to the tenant's credit card after the rental. If the HGS tolls are subsequently reflected on Auto Home by the competent authority, the costs to be paid by Auto Home will be immediately recourse to the Tenant. In addition, an additional 25% service fee will be applied.
Vehicle Tracking Devices
Some of the vehicles contain monitoring devices to be used in accordance with our data protection policy.
Opening Hours
Location working hours can be found at www.autohome.com.tr. The tenant is responsible for controlling the location's opening hours, along with national or public holiday closures.
Complaints
All complaints must be made in writing via the Online Contact Form available at www.autohome.com.tr within 30 days of the last day of your rental. While Auto Home tries to resolve all claims brought to our attention, claims arising after this period may not be considered. If communication is lost at any point during the research process for more than 30 days, the process will be considered closed and no further action will be taken.

All information regarding privacy and data protection when using the Auto Home service will be contained in our privacy policy available on our website.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of the reservation must be made in writing or via the account on the Auto Home website. Cancellations made by phone will not be accepted.
Reservation Cancellation Assurance
It provides free cancellation up to 1 hour before the reservation time if it is purchased while making a reservation from the Auto Home website.
Standard Cancellation Policy
The notice period considers a 24-hour period up to the start time, not a calendar day.
Cancellation notification sent 7 days or more before the start date: 250 TRY will be refunded from the prepaid amount.
Cancellation notification sent 3-6 days before the start date: 50% of the prepaid amount will be refunded.
Cancellation notification sent 2 days before the start date: 25% of the prepaid amount will be refunded.
Cancellation notification sent 0-1 day before start date: no refund.
All prepaid reservations will be subject to a minimum cancellation fee of 250 TRY.
For reservations where the prepaid amount is less than 250 TRY, no refund will be made regardless of when the cancellation request is made.
For pay-on-arrival reservations made online, the no-show/cancellation fee will be equal to the prepaid amount and will not be refunded.
Terms of use
General Conditions
All reservations are subject to our terms and conditions.
Auto Home cannot accept responsibility for any fees arising from documents signed and accepted.
Auto Home will not be held responsible for willful damage to anyone who drives under the influence of alcohol or drugs, for vehicles entering the terrain or for driving without care and attention. The Tenant shall accept responsibility for such claims. The items listed in this article are not limited.
Auto Home acts as an agent/broker for reservations from third party brokers and websites. Reservation confirmation confirmations will be sent to the tenant via e-mail. If invoices are required, they must be issued by the booked resource and not by Auto Home.
When comprehensive insurance is taken, it is to give the renter the right to drive and to cover the vehicle in the event of an accident. In case the tenant is found to be at fault, Auto Home Turkey locations reserve the right to pursue legal action to compensate the tenant for all losses incurred.
Calls to Auto Home can be recorded.
Auto Home reserves the right to cancel a rental and refuse service at any time.
Promotions
All promotional codes used at the time of booking are applied and included in the price shown. All terms associated with promotions must be complied with at the time of collection.
